About the role

Reporting to the Head of Terminal Operations, the Terminal Operations Performance Manager will lead the non-day of operations workstream. The position ensures that operational capacity is effectively utilised, contractor performance is managed, and performance is forecast, monitored and optimised through data visualisation, application of advanced analytics and stakeholder consultation.

Working closely with the operations, airport planning, airspace management, facilities and project services teams, this role proactively identifies issues and leads projects to innovate and improve operational capacity and processes.

Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring the planning and statistical reporting needs of the Aviation Group are met as well as leading aviation contract management relating to slot management and operational performance for the Aviation Group.

Key deliverables include development and implementation of Slot Management Framework and Demand Management Scheme, seasonal capacity declaration, operational forecasting, data visualisation, development and update of operational assumptions, advanced analytics and the identification and implementation of operational efficiency initiatives.

About you

You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in making a difference through doing great work.

You will be tertiary qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business etc.) and deeply experienced in high level commercial financial analysis including, developing and maintaining complex financial models and the development of businesses cases, feasibility studies.

We are seeking a motivated individual, who is capable of building and maintaining productive relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a ten-month maternity leave contract
, so we are looking for somebody who can quickly get up to speed. For this reason, previous airline or airport experience would be great.
