The team manages a suite of grant programs delivered under the Advance Queensland Initiative, legacy programs and a range of one off strategic investments.The current key programs include the Ignite Ideas Fund, Industry Research Fellowships program and the Woman's Research Assistance Program.The purpose of the Project Officer position is to assist with the administration and delivery of the funding programs delivered by the division, and the contract management of the approved funding applicants.Your contribution: - Assist team leaders to deliver and manage a diverse suite of funding programs. This will include coordinating funding rounds, assessment processes and contract negotiation and management. Manage your own portfolio of grant funding recipients. Actively engage with stakeholders to progress work deliverables and resolve problems. Utilise a best practice grants management database to deliver relevant funding rounds, and proactively manage all aspects of the grant management life cycle. Undertake assessment of grant funding proposals for eligibility and adherence to program guidelines. Compile and negotiate funding agreements around funding investments and project deliverables. Prepare reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence as identified as needed individually and as directed by senior officers and management.Applications to remain current for 12 months.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
