**SECURITY DEFENCE AREA OPERATIONS MANAGER**

**About the Role**
We are seeking a full-time Defence Operations Manager within our Defence Portfolio in the ACT. The role will directly manage this portfolio across 3 sites. Liaising with the client, internal stakeholders as well as the Defence security team.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Leading & monitoring contract compliance in line with contractual KPIs
- Liaising with key clients on matters of site performance, reporting, service delivery, operational reviews, and opportunities for improvement & innovation
- Structuring meetings with relevant stakeholders to review group performance
- Providing accurate and timely information on performance, variances and accompanying action plans to State Operations Manager
- Monitoring performance, addressing and documenting gaps
- Overseeing the management of claims, customer complaints, issue resolution and capital expenditure

**To be considered for this position, you will have**:

- Business and commercial acumen
- Strong leadership and management skills
- The ability to develop strategies and implement action plans
- The ability to generate innovative solutions to satisfy customer needs and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
- **The ability to work autonomously** in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work with conflicting time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Broad knowledge in the security services industry is desirable across physical and electronic security sectors
- Experience working with Defence or other Government agencies
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular, MS Office and MS Excel
- Ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance at an NV1 level
- Security licence preferred.
