APS 6 - Project Manager - Defence Cyber Range

The role offers a salary of $95,187 - $108,734 + up to 15.4% Superannuation and is located in Canberra - ACT.

The Role
As the APS 6 Cyber Range Manager, you will facilitate the operations and management of the Defence Cyber Range training system within the Joint Cyber and Influence Directorate (JCIP). The successful applicant will undertake duties including:

- Managing Defence Cyber Range account administration and training activities including resource allocation, event planning and coordination;
- Providing input into the development of project planning, performance, cost and schedule documents;
- Building and sustaining stakeholder engagement including communicating with influence and negotiating effectively;
- Proposing novel approaches to challenges when considering technical, operational, professional and administrative activities, procedures, practices and project management methodologies;
- Identifying risks and opportunities and considering these in planning, decision-making, and priority setting;
- Working collaboratively with team members;
- Analysing project performance, and developing and initiating strategies to achieve project outcomes.

About our Team
Joint Information Capabilities Branch (JICB) is one of four branches within the Joint Capabilities Division in Joint Capabilities Group (JCG). JICB develops and manages a number of capabilities being:

- Joint Cyber & Influence Projects (JCIP);
- Joint Simulation Capabilities (JSC);
- Assured Position Navigation Timing (PNT);
- Joint Electronic Warfare (EW); and
- Project Management Office (PMO).
