**Salary**:Clerk Grade 7/8, $110,266 to $122,058 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

**Your role**

The role is responsible for managing a range of tasks relating to insurance claims for DCJ’s asset portfolio, from initial claim submission to final resolution, and payment allocation.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the Major Program Delivery team within Infrastructure and Assets, the role will oversee the end-to-end insurance claims process, including, but not limited to:

- Liaising with the Department’s insurance provider (iCare) representatives and internal stakeholders on works, timeframes, variation of works and any additional requirements.
- Accurate and efficient processing of insurance claims, ensuring that all forms are current, correct and in line with insurance (iCare) processes.
- Reading, interpreting assessor reports, requirements and providing direction to others on the requirements for insurance claims.
- Providing regular reports to senior leaders and providing advice and guidance to stakeholders regarding insurance matters.
- Monitoring and updating financials for insurance claims, as required.
- Managing and supporting the Assistant Insurance Claims Officer.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Property, Fleet & Insurance Services in Major Program Delivery, I&A.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing insurance claims support, including knowledge of insurance policies and practices, is desirable.
