**Your role**
The role is responsible for assisting with a range of tasks relating to insurance claims for DCJ’s asset portfolio, from initial claim submission to final resolution, and payment allocation.
**What you’ll do**
As part of the Major Program Delivery team within Infrastructure and Assets, the role will assist the Insurance Claims Officer with the provision of end-to-end insurance claim support, including, but not limited to:
- Liaising with internal departmental stakeholders and iCare representatives on claims-related matters.
- Updating and maintaining the DCJ records database (TRIM) and internal claims tracker with claims-related information and entering claims into the iCare portal.
- Assisting with the preparation of claims-related documentation, including correspondence, meeting papers and reports.
- Managing the centralised insurance claims mailbox, including triaging, assigning and escalating matters, as required
- Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders regarding insurance matters.
The role reports to the Insurance Claims Officer, Property, Fleet & Insurance Services in Major Program Delivery, I&A.
