**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Degree in any business field or with position specific advanced management training from a recognised training organisation
- Minimum 7 years' sales experience in the construction / building products industry
- Minimum 5 years' in a senior sales management position
- Strong leadership style with strong personal values
- Well abreast and functionally familiar with the latest digital marketing, CRM and e-commerce trends in the building products segment.
- Strong grasp of financial and numerical business analytics

**ROLE**
- Lead, coach, and mentor a national sales team across Australia, with a view to inspiring the sale team to achieve additional growth thought leading by example
- Work strategically with the directors to implement plans for the next growth phase
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and gross profit across the commercial segment
- Work with your team to achieve and surpass their target & KPI requirements as well as working side-by-side and provide help and support.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Execute the sales plan and delivering sales to budget across Australia considering the longer term organisational strategic plan
- Provide regular monthly revenue forecasts to the finance department and Managing Director against the budget whilst considering shifts in the Australian marketplace
- Maintain high level VIP customer relationships across Australia
- Regularly review the market to determine customer needs, emerging threats, and opportunities
- Ensure staff training plans and performance evaluations are up to date across the department and that all staff are participating in regular reviews with their managers against their set KPI's and team expectations
