**About the role**: The Armoury Logistics Team are responsible for the logístical tracking and distribution of accountable equipment servicing both regional and metro members throughout Victoria. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for the administration of logistics associated with the maintenance scheduling of Victoria Police accountable equipment and will report to the Armoury Team Leader. The role also requires a customer centric, collaborative, and innovative approach to working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements. **Your duties will include**: - Maintain asset management systems for various equipment used by Victoria Police, including the accurate recording of asset movements to Regions and/or Departments. - Undertake the administration associated with maintenance scheduling of Victoria Police accountable equipment. - Participate in the periodical and / or adhoc stocktake of Victoria Police accountable equipment including liaising with internal and external stakeholders. - Undertake accountabilities associated with the manual handling and movement of accountable equipment in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, the Firearms Act, and the Control of Weapons Act. - Work successfully and effectively, either independently or within a team environment. - Assist in the preparation of logistics plans. **About You**: - Knowledge or experience of recording maintenance activity and asset movement in an asset management system. - Demonstrated experience with safe manual handling practices and high level of understanding of Health and Safety principals. - Demonstrated experience using computers, related logistics technology or basic software programs to undertake audits, receipting and data entry activities. - High level of communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish working relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and team members. - A strong commitment to Operational Infrastructure Department's strategy goals - supporting our people and embracing customer centricity, innovation and collaboration in our delivery of services. **Further Information**: - One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available. - This position is located in Inner City North East Melbourne. - Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. - We expect our people to foster a safe and inclusive environment where their behaviour and attitude reflects, builds upon and promotes a positive and collaborative workplace that respects the culture and values of Victoria Police. - **Resume**: **Applications close midnight, 26**th** October 2025.** **About Us**: Victoria Police has a dedicated workforce of more than 22,000 employees consisting of police, protective services officers, police custody officers, and public service staff.
