Due to continued growth, an exciting and truly rare opportunity has become available for an Asset Manager to join their team, specialising in the industrial sector. This career defining opportunity will be working closely with the Head of Asset Management in delivering premium investment and operational performance.

**Your new role**
You will be managing a portfolio made up large-scale A-grade industrial assets with a clear focus in enhancing investment returns through strategic delivery of Asset Management services. You will be responsible, but not limited to the following:

- Assist and contribute to driving AM Industrial team performance
- Develop a personal and professional brand and be recognised within a specialised sector as a market leader
- Create and deliver asset management strategies to maximise property income and returns across a portfolio of industrial assets
- Understand the key deliverables required for each Fund in which the portfolio of assets sits
- Appoint and manage external leasing agents, together with directly negotiate leasing transactions
- Develop a strong market profile within the industry, through networking and the cultivation of key relationships
- Monitor and supervise internal or external Property Managers and Facility Managers to ensure performance hurdles and deadlines are met
- Undertake strategic assessment of the assets and their competitors to understand the positioning of the assets in the market
- Oversee income, expenditure and capital budgets with the Property Management and National Operations team
- Prepare Memorandums and Business Cases for Fund Managers, Investment Committees and Boards on various proposals eg leasing & capital expenditure
- Strategic analysis, leasing, rent reviews and valuation coordination
- Prepare, or assist with the preparation of, board and internal reporting including Strategic Asset Plans, which is to be concise, accurate and delivered on time
- Assist Transaction Managers with acquisition and/or divestment due diligence

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor degree in Property or related discipline
- 5+ years' industry experience within Asset/Investment Management
- Solid market knowledge of various industrial markets
- Previous experience in managing a team of Property Managers
- Proven experience in dealing with a range of stakeholders
- Possess a strong financial aptitude, commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Capable of articulating complex projects and issues clearly
- High level of focus on customer service and design thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability and urgency to complete deals
- Solid market network, negotiation and deal-making skills
- Possess the diversity and flexibility to handle a role that encompasses a broad range of duties
- Maintain high standard of performance - e.g. attention to detail, quality and timely execution of tasks
- Industrial experience is advantageous, but not essential
