We're now on the lookout for a **New Home Care Trade Manager **to join our New Home Care team.

Reporting to the New Home Care Group Manager, you will proactively seek new trades and manage their relationships during their employment time within our Porter Davis New Home Care team.

**About the role**:

- Proactively stay connected with Trades to ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner
- Maintain high-level customer service ethic with internal customers
- Through an auditing process, inspect new home care repairs to ensure all work complies with appropriate building codes and to display quality standard
- Work with trades directly to educate them on quality expectations and practices within our clients' occupied homes.
- Manage cost expenditure in the best interest of Porter Davis Homes
- Demonstrate safe working practices and ensure all company OH&S standards adhere
- Provide the Area Manager with monthly trade forecast availabilities
- Ensure that trade availability enables all jobs to be addressed on time
- Seek to share knowledge with others by aiding the office team to help in the smooth coordination of works

**Who we're looking for**:
Ideally were seeking a passionate individual who has experience in maintenance/warranty and possesses the following:

- Understanding and commitment to relevant OH&S regulations
- Ability to manage trade/supplier relationships
- Capability to manage and motivate staff/trades
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- High focus and experience in delivering outstanding customer service
- Sound computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High-level organisation and prioritisation capability
- Ability to work to conflicting deadlines and problem solve
- Sense of urgency, flexibility and strong initiative
- Understanding of building standards and tolerances
