The Role

Reporting to the Trade & Promotions Manager, Promotions Coordinator will play a critical part in supporting the development and execution of the annual Trade Plan and monthly Promotions Plan. You will analyse promotional performance, manage end-to-end promotional processes, and ensure compliance and accuracy across key stakeholders.

This position is central to enabling data-driven decision-making and delivering promotional campaigns that delight customers and drive commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

As the Promotions Coordinator, you will:

  • Support the Trade & Promotions Manager across annual and monthly planning cycles, meetings, and retrospective reviews.
  • Analyse historical promotional performance, financials, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to inform future planning.
  • Drive the end-to-end promotional process, managing meeting actions, deadlines, and compliance across stakeholders.
  • Collate and review Category Manager submissions for the Excellent Execution Guide (EEG) and Point of Sale (POS) nominations, ensuring accuracy and timely handover to Marketing.
  • Partner with internal teams and suppliers to deliver campaigns that meet regulatory, legal, and commercial standards.
  • Build collaborative supplier relationships that support mutual value and long-term business success.

About You

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving capability.
  • Experience in query resolution and stakeholder coordination, ideally in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of merchandise processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, results-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
  • Project management or promotional planning experience (preferred).
  • Collaborative approach with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
