**Your Impact**

As an experienced Fixed Income (or Multi
- Asset) Portfolio Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing Medibank’s internally managed investment portfolios (Cash, Fixed Income, Hybrids) and supporting the strategic asset allocation across both internally and externally managed investments.

You’ll deliver critical treasury functions including liquidity, FX risk, capital management, and regulatory reporting, ensuring our investment strategy aligns with Medibank’s purpose and risk appetite.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- **Portfolio Strategy & Execution**: Develop and implement fixed income strategies that deliver strong risk-adjusted returns. Execute trades efficiently and manage external counterparty relationships.
- **Strategic Asset Allocation**: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and our external investment consultant (JANA) to maintain a robust and appropriate SAA.
- **Liquidity & FX Risk Management**: Ensure daily cash flows are optimised and FX exposures are appropriately hedged.
- **Capital & Debt Initiatives**: Support funding strategies for Medibank’s M&A and other strategic transactions.
- **Reporting & ESG**: Support investment reporting and contribute to ESG and sustainability disclosures aligned with industry best practices.
- **Risk & Governance**: Maintain compliance with trading policies and regulatory limits, and support stress testing and scenario analysis.

**About You**

You’re a seasoned investment professional with demonstrated experience in investment decision making for institutional buy-side asset managers. You will also need to bring with you:

- Proven track record (around 5+ years) as a Portfolio Manager in AU fixed income (or multi-asset for regulated entities).
- Deep knowledge of Australian corporate bonds and short-term fixed income markets, including existing connections with market counterparties.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Yieldbroker, and treasury systems.
- Experience with ESG reporting and MSCI ESG tools is a plus.
