About us
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
As the Project and Reporting Officer your main focus will be on HR reporting and analysis, and supporting MCV wide initiatives and operations through the provision of meaningful HR data. Using your analytical skills and contemporary HR knowledge, you will prepare and present monthly workforce reports for the Executive Leadership Group and other key stakeholders that identify trends, gaps and issues to support managerial decision making.
When you are not focussing on HR reporting, you will scope, lead and implement projects in collaboration with the Senior Manager, People & Culture and the MCV Strategy Unit to deliver on People and Culture objectives and ensure continuous improvement for the People and Culture team.

About you
You will be passionate about HR reporting and data analytics with a natural eye for detail. You will have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to present data to tell a meaningful story. Your skills in using Power BI or Tableau will be advantageous however are not essential. Your strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work as a collegiate member of a team will be a must to ensure your success in this role.
