THE ROLE

The Community Connectors program is a Victorian Government initiative, that employs teams of local residents that will act as a ‘connector' to link people at their doorstep to preventative and early intervention health and social services. Local residents will be employed from the communities which it seeks to serve, in many cases continuing employment that has been supported during the COVID-19 emergency.
The Community Connectors initiative will focus on health promotion and access to health services and broader social care services. The Community Connectors program will be delivered by community health providers across both metropolitan and regional Victoria. The Community Connector Project Support and Reporting Officer will provide overall administration support throughout the program and support providers with their reporting obligations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Support the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
