**About the Role**
As the Trade Planning Manager - Langton’s, you will be a strategic thinker who can lead change through an ever evolving and dynamic business environment. In this key role within the Langton’s Buying team, you will have a deep understanding of the business strategies and how to translate them into an actionable customer plan. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the Langton’s business to develop a customer-first trade plan to maximise customer opportunities whilst driving business objectives and strategies.
Reporting to the Head of Fine Wine - Endeavour, you will drive continuous improvement to evolve and improve processes and lead change to streamline ways of working.
In addition you will:
- Partner with key stakeholders across the Buying, Sales (Retail - Direct + Online and Auction/ secondary market), Marketing and Finance teams to develop a robust go-to-market, end-to-end trade plan that delivers both customer and category strategies
- Lead the collaboration of cross functional groups to prioritise category and business initiatives across the year establishing and embedding key operating rhythms
- Leverage data and insight and draw on key business strategies and objectives to support and align teams on delivering key business outcomes
- Understand the customer and work closely with the teams to ensure all campaigns and offers are aligned to changing customer preferences and needs
- Communicate and champion the campaign and category plans throughout the business including managing changes and remaining agile as required
Given the location of the majority of the team, it is preferable (but not essential) that the role is based in Sydney.
**About You**
A collaborative influencer with excellent communication and presentation skills, you are someone who can build a strong rapport with stakeholders and a cross functional team to deliver commercial and customer focused outcomes. You will bring to the role a strong understanding of profit and loss with the ability to communicate and link to campaign plans.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of Buying/Merchandising within a liquor / FMCG environment
- Coaching and empowering colleagues to continuously improve delivery of results that support the strategic objectives
- An omni channel approach to retail and understanding that the customer is at the centre of all decisions
- Self motivated and ability to work under own initiative
- Passionate about understanding the customer and putting the customer first - ensure that all trade planning and execution is built to benefit the customer
- Ability to leverage data & insights to drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth to lead decision making that enables a customer first approach
- Degree or equivalent qualifications in eCommerce, Commerce, Marketing or Business will be highly regarded
