Brand Manager

**12 month FTC with possibility of extension**:

- **Sydney/Melbourne based with hybrid working**

**What you’ll do**:
The Brand Manager Trade leads and executes campaigns and initiatives as part of the BWS customer trade plan through generating customer first initiatives in partnership with cross functional teams and supplier partners

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute in the development, execution and measurement of the business Customer Trade plan to deliver the business, Categories and Marketing strategy.
- Responsible for the development and execution of product and category lead campaigns. You will do this through communications and media planning, creative and content development, budget, agency management and reporting
- Responsible for partnering with the Commercial Merchandise team to develop supplier collaboration opportunities and commercialisation of campaigns and the BWS app initiatives that deliver a mutually beneficial outcome for BWS, the customer & our suppliers.
- Partner with key agencies, supplier partners & cross functional teams to deliver business, categories & marketing strategy
- Responsible for managing budget effectively and to plan and also h old partner agencies accountable for estimates and budgeting
- Responsible for campaign activity performance reports, ensuring learnings and recommendations for future activity are shared and actioned
- Accountable for the production of all PCA's & circulating learnings & recommendations to the broader business & supplier partners (where appropriate)
- Enhance awareness of the contribution marketing plays against strategic objectives
- Provide assistance to the Head of Marketing Trade & Senior Brand Manager on the prioritisation of other varied projects within the Marketing portfolio
- Ensure ad-hoc projects are aligned within the business and then allocated to correct resource within the Marketing team

To be successful in this role, you will be a critical thinker, have a strong customer focus and a growth mindset. **Ideally you will demonstrate considerable experience in the following key areas**:

- Minimum 5+ years working in dedicated Marketing environment, ideally Retail or Trade experience
- Understanding of customer/trade planning & campaign execution in a marketing context
- Working knowledge of supplier-retailer marketing partnerships
- Demonstrated experience in managing consumer campaigns with multiple stakeholders
- Project Management skills and ability to manage varied tasks at once
- Ability to work autonomously with little direction and deal with ambiguity
- Proven experience in negotiating and influencing
- Strong presentation skills
