The Account Manager & Media Planner role focuses on building brilliant client relationships and exceeding results by delivering best in class media planning and buying. From media planning right through to execution, responding to client briefs based on achieving results.
You will have the ability to manage multiple client relationships and plan across traditional and digital media channels and manage workflows. As an Account Manager & Media Planner you are able to identify which media platforms and channels are best suited to the client's brand or performance objectives. Being an independent agency, you’ll have the opportunity to work across many different media channels. We’d like you to bring your thoughts & opinions to the table when it comes to media planning.
This role reports into the Managing Partner.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Key decision maker across media planning for your client patch - recommending the best channel, and tactics, as well as the best ad formats; for specific clients and campaigns.
- Identifying target audiences and analysing their characteristics, behaviour and media habits to support paid media channel recommendation
- Undertake market research and analysis using industry tools & resources
- Liaising with media owners, AdTech vendors, creative agency team, ADMATIC trading and specialist teams in SEO, SEM and Social to develop the media strategy, proposal, and campaign plan.
- Responsible for leading and presenting the media strategy and proposals to clients
- Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns in order to inform future campaigns
- Successfully build strong relationships with your client base to understand their business and marketing objectives
- Develop a strong understanding of your client’s marketing direction, challenges and opportunities in market
- Drive commercial growth through new innovative channels or opportunities across your client patch
- Assist and support with key pitches and other new business development projects

**Experiences & qualifications**
- 3-5 years experience of solid media planning and buying on both digital and ATL
- Experience channel planning using industry tools such as Roy Morgan highly desirable
- Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done.
- Exceptional client facing communication & presentation skills
**Remuneration expectation**
- Full-time role
- AUD$85,000-$95,000 per annum
- Plus Superannuation
**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
