**What does the business unit do?**

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.

Data, Digital and Insights (DDI) focuses on meeting the departments data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes. The specialist groups within DDI consist of Technology Solutions and Evidence and Insights.

Technology Solutions explores and employs modern technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services.

Evidence and Insights leads the DJCS data reporting, analytics and modelling program, outcomes measurement and evaluation services. It includes the Crime Statistics Agency and National Coronial Information System.

The DevOps group within Technology Solutions is responsible for the development and operations of enterprise platforms. These platforms include the department's AWS Platform and Landing Zone, enterprise service bus, consolidated data base platform, web platform, online transactions environment, M365 development, ServiceNow platform and DevOps tooling. The DevOps group preferences Agile methodologies in operations, utilising Kanban, Scrum and SAFe. The team is collaborative at its foundation and aims to deliver services to citizens and the rest of the department that are simple, repeatable, innovative and end-user focused.

**What will the role do?**
- Promotes Agile ways of working and assists teams in adopting and practising best practice Scrum, Lean and Agile ways of working.
- Supports Product Owners in creating communications and organisational change advise to support new features or changes to the environment.
- Supports the administration of DevOps and work management tools to enable self-managing teams of developers and cloud delivery specialists.

**What skills should an Agile and Change Advisor have?**
- Highly developed customer service skills.
- Experience and proven ability in managing change activities in a complex enterprise environment.
- Experience in delivering high quality communication artefacts.
- Experience supporting teams in service delivery and continuous improvement processes.
- Experience creating corporate Briefs and managing their approval chain.
- Issue management and resolution experience.
- A relevant business or ICT tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.
- A Scrum Master certification would be highly regarded.
