**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Department/Service.

**The Executive Assistant will**:

- Provide effective and efficient confidential executive support and secretarial duties to support the respective Director/Directorate.
- Establish working relationships at all levels of the organisation with particular emphasis in relationships with members of the senior executives, other executive support staff, SVHA and NSW health managers and clinicians.
- Contribute to the successful operations in the executive suite. Work in a team approach taking on a portfolio responsibility within the executive office to ensure a consistent and standardised work environment and excellent customer service.
- Be a highly motivated person who will play an integral role in providing high level executive and administrative support to the respective Director and will also support the overall Directorate.
- Have a strong focus on organising meetings and coordinating resources, and will be expected to proactively initiate, plan and prioritise such events.
- Have experience in working to deadlines, have the ability to work independently and be able to navigate the intricacies of a complex organization.
- Be dynamic, well organised, demonstrate initiative, and be able to juggle multiple requests while remaining positive under pressure.

- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience providing high level executive support with demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to effectively problem solve, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, supported by demonstrated capacity to work independently and in a team, exercising initiative and judgement, to work within deadlines/timeframes.
- Sound diary management skills within a fast paced organisation.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including sound negotiation skills, with a clear ability to project a positive image and effectively liaise and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maturity, flexibility, discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
- Excellent written skills with the ability to prepare documents.
- Experience in supporting executive committees including collation and production of papers, agendas and minutes
