- Lewis Black Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with an up-and-coming cosmetic brand? Our client, a dynamic company based in Sydney CBD, is seeking a talented Assistant Accountant/Accounts Executive to join their finance team.

As an Assistant Accountant/Accounts Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in the finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of accounts payable/receivable processes, journal entries, and general ledger activities. Your attention to detail and passion for accuracy will contribute to maintaining financial records with precision and integrity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment collection, and reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable, journal entry, and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
