A volunteer-based rescue service looking to modernise and grow volunteering.

**Your new role**

As an Assistant Project Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and operationalisation of the tools and resources that have been developed by the volunteering team. You will conduct various project-related tasks, such as research, analysis, reporting, implementation, and administrative duties. Some of your key accountabilities will include:

- Assisting in the development of training packages for internal staff
- Coordinating the pilot training program to be conducted before the conclusion of the project
- Identifying potential gaps that could impact the integration of new tools and resources and devising tools to support our Zones and Units in effectively and efficiently engaging with external volunteers
- Assisting in creating tools to evaluate the effectiveness of existing and new preparedness resources

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in project management, volunteer management, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
