**About the role**

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Support Officer who wants to work as part of a close-knit high performing team of ecologists developing and delivering high-quality and informative science products as part of the Ecological Health Performance Scorecards program.

This role offers diversity ranging from high level administrative and project support tasks, including maintaining registers, databases and field equipment and procurement, to assisting with background research, data processing and analysis, and undertaking ecological fieldwork.

**About You**

You are a highly organised and motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative, busy and diverse setting. You have a passion for the environment and a keen interest in ecology. You possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task as well as have excellent communication skills which will be key in supporting the delivery of ecological projects.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Sound organisational skills, the capacity to undertake and complete several tasks concurrently, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.

**Essential requirements**
- Current Driver’s Licence, and have, or willingness to obtain, 4WD licence and recovery training.
- Willing and able to assist with ecological fieldwork which involves travel and working away from home.
