As a result of internal development within our team the Board & Executive Services team (BEST) at Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) is currently seeking to establish an **Assistant Project Officer** **talent pool** to ensure we’re ready to meet future needs and challenges throughout the remainder of 2025 and beyond. This role is to undertake a range of project support and forums/roundtable coordination activities to support the development and delivery of key strategic projects.
In this role, you will:
- Work as an integral member of a small team of colleagues who are enthusiastic about providing exceptional service to the NRAR Executive and their branches.
- You'll have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience and knowledge of what each branch across NRAR does.
A day in the life includes
- Working with the Manager BEST and the team
- Contributing to the continual improvement of the work of the Board & Executive Services Team and the organisational maturity of NRAR.
- Organising the schedules of members of our executive team, prioritising and actioning tasks on their behalf.
- Handling correspondence, acting as a liaison between the executive and stakeholders.
- Preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and assisting with briefing documents and presentations for these meetings.
- Assist with travel arrangements for business trips and event management for face-to-face branch events.
**About You**
We are seeking an individual who possesses the following qualities:
- an ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure and competing priorities
- experience in diary and records management/governance
- well-developed written and verbal communication skills, adjustable to the wide range of audiences you’ll engage with.
- effective collaboration skills, drawing in expertise while also supporting colleagues and other teams to achieve their goals.
- excellent time management, allowing you to meet deadlines and goals to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- excellent attention to detail
