**About the role**
As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll be reporting to the Sales Support Manager and joining a national Sales Support team that aims to reduce the order to bill time for the Enterprise & Government sales team, improve the customer experience of order management and onboarding and seeks to improve the sales outcomes for Vocus. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to build relationships with the sales team, understand the products, adhere to processes with the big picture in mind, flex your problem-solving skills and be adaptable.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Sales process checks and validations to support commercial close.
- Accurate and efficient capture and detailing of assigned orders; order entry and processing as required; submission to delivery teams.
- Triaging order submission failures and on-hold orders requiring action on behalf of the sales team and manage to completion.
- Monitoring of orders through delivery phase and to correct first bill
- Performing customer onboarding process e.g. including welcome communications, customer portal setup and enablement.
- Ad hoc support for customer audits, reporting and documentation.
- Support for large sales opportunity/order detailing in CRM system (Salesforce).
- Contribute to team skills development and knowledge sharing.
- Provide support for equitable workload distribution across the team through case pickup.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement - with a focus on adding value and efficiency gains.

**About success in this role**
Your proven previous experience within a similar Sales support role, proactive troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, in addition to your high attention to detail, will determine success in this role. As an enabler who demonstrates support to develop a successful respected team, you’ll be joining likeminded individuals who focus on adding value and delivering services that make a difference. Additionally, you’ll bring to this role:
- Tertiary qualification in within a relevant discipline.
- Proven exposure working on Enterprise customer orders.
- Telecommunications industry experience highly desired.
- High proficiency in Enterprise grade CRMs and order entry systems.
- Salesforce experience, highly advantageous.
- Solid technical aptitude to understand complex ICT products.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to ensure consistency of standards/procedures and promote efficiencies.
