The Behind the Meter team drives our future strategy by delivering innovative renewable energy solutions like solar, batteries, and EV chargers, ensuring seamless, exceptional customer experiences.

As a Customer Sales & Support Specialist you will drive sales from warm leads to conversion while delivering exceptional service. Supporting customers through the entire journey—pre, during, and post-installation of solar and battery solutions—this role ensures seamless interactions and optimized service delivery.
- Engage in sales opportunities to enhance customer experiences and drive sales.
- Respond to inquiries and provide level 1 advice on solar, batteries, and EV chargers.
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners to convert leads into sales.
- Troubleshoot issues, guide device operation, and escalate complex cases.
- Record customer interactions, installations, and payments in systems.

**Qualifications**
- Basic technical knowledge of solar panels and home battery systems is an extra bonus but as a minimum, capability to learn and absorb technical information
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build rapport and provide exceptional service to customers.
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions to customer inquiries.
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is a plus.
- Basic technical knowledge of solar panels and home battery systems is an extra bonus but as a minimum, capability to learn and absorb technical information.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced sales & customer service environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Super organised, ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
