**About C&K**

The Creche and Kindergarten Association Limited (C&K) is a not-for-profit early childhood provider with nearly 350 early childhood education and care services located across Queensland. C&K acknowledges that each child and family have unique early education and care requirements and so we provide a range of different programs including childcare, kindergarten, outside school hours' care and integrated services.
- C&K Robinson Road Childcare Centre_ is located on Robinson Road West, Geebung in Brisbane's North. Conveniently situated near bus and train routes with easy access parking via Fisher Parade. Our brand new new early learning centre has been designed in collaboration with educators and architects, to create inviting spaces for children to explore, discover, learn and play. Our centre has bright and natural spaces which include modern and natural outdoor play spaces featuring mud play, sand pits, a dry creek with pumping water for the children to explore.

We offer a holistic approach to high quality early years education. This includes, not just learning but also building meaningful relationships and connection to our community to ensure that children feel safe, secure and supported.

We are currently looking for a qualified assistant educator to join our team. As an experienced, warm and passionate assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a stimulating education program in collaboration with your team, providing opportunities for the children, families and the wider community to contribute. We are looking for someone who finds joy in seeing children learn and grow. Someone who connects with children and families and has passion for making their world amazing.

C&K has developed a Birth to Three program which informs the way we care for and educate our babies and toddlers. In the birth to three groups, our warm and professional educators "slow down" and are in the moment with each child as they explore the world.

We focus on developing a deep and trusting relationship with each child, to take the time in precious care moments, and develop routines and rituals with families so each child feels safe, happy and secure.

**About you**

An experienced early childhood Educator, you will be energetic, fun, passionate and committed to supporting and guiding children’s learning and development. You will have the following:

- Certificate lll qualification in early childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA); or enrolled and actively working towards
- Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Hold or willing to obtain a paid Blue Card
- Previous experience working with children
- Passion for creating and delivering a simulating learning environment
- An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
- Skilled with documenting observations of children's behaviour and development, in the form of learning stories
- An ability to implement a planned program, in collaboration with the Room Leader ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
