**_C&K Birralee Childcare Centre_** is a 65 place Long Day Care service that welcomes children from 6 weeks of age to preschool age. Our centre has proudly supported local families and community for over 43 years. The spacious outdoor play areas are filled with established trees that provide ample shade for children to engage with our open-ended resources as they explore, discover, learn and play.
A fantastic opportunity has come available for experienced Educator to join our **_C&K Birralee_**_ _**_team_**. As the Assistant in the Pre-Kindergarten room you will have the opportunity to learn and grow through C&K, to bring new skills and ideas to challenge your knowledge and deliver excellence in early education and care.
For the role we are looking for an Educator who is energetic, passionate and fun, who will pride themselves on their passion and dedication for early education and care within the learning environment and have exceptional skills to build relationships with families and children. This position is permanent part time position.

**About you**
An experienced early childhood Educator, you will be energetic, fun, passionate and committed to supporting and guiding children’s learning and development. You will have the following:
- Certificate lll qualification in early childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA); or enrolled and actively working towards
- Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Hold or willing to obtain a paid Blue Card
- Previous experience working with children
- Passion for creating and delivering a simulating learning environment
- An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
- Skilled with documenting observations of children's behaviour and development, in the form of learning stories
- An ability to implement a planned program, in collaboration with the Room Leader ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
