**About the opportunity**

**_ C&K Strathpine South Childcare Centre_** is a 5-room service offering Early Childhood Education for children from 6 weeks through to 5 years. It is one of C&K’s bigger centres (licensed up to 125 children per day) it can be described as fast paced yet a fun and supportive environment where we encourage and strongly promote personal and professional development and innovative thinking. We offer a holistic approach to high quality education centred not just on learning but also on building meaningful relationships to ensure children feel safe, secure and supported.

C&K Strathpine South Childcare Centre is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Assistant Educator to join their team. As the Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing a quality care and education program in co-operation with the Group Leader. This is a permanent full time position. We are looking for an educator who can be flexible, and work shifts between the hours of 6:30am - 6:30pm on rotating rosters.

**About you**

An experienced early childhood Educator, you will be energetic, fun, passionate and committed to supporting and guiding children’s learning and development. You will have the following:

- Certificate lll qualification in early childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA); or enrolled and actively working towards
- Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Hold or willing to obtain a paid Blue Card
- Previous experience working with children
- Passion for creating and delivering a simulating learning environment
- An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
- Skilled with documenting observations of children's behaviour and development, in the form of learning stories
- An ability to implement a planned program, in collaboration with the Room Leader ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
