The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_What you’ll be doing_**

The primary purpose of the Project Officer, Partnerships and Grants is to co-ordinate, execute, implement and support the operations, monitoring and evaluation of the Cancer Institute's partnership and grant activities and to facilitate effective delivery of programs and research projects in line with Divisional and Institute objectives.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent and relevant professional experience and training.
- An understanding of the NSW and or federal health system including a knowledge of relevant trends, issues, policies and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver and meet project objectives and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Please give an example of a project where you were responsible for improving or changing a process. What key principles did you adhere to, and how did you overcome any challenges you faced?
