**Media Producer**:

**About the Role**:
We are advertising to backfill the role while the substantive role holder's secondment period is extended to Aug 2025.

The Media Producer creates digital media content, primarily focusing on video capture and editing, and coordinates development of digital experiences to engage, educate and immerse audiences of the Australian Museum across digital media channels.

The priority activities in 2025 include:

- Record and edit high quality audio and video content, and capture publication quality images documenting AM exhibitions and collection objects, people, activities and events using a range of equipment including a Matterport camera for creating virtual tours
- Undertake digital asset management system operations for photography and video content including; media ingest, recording metadata, responding to internal and external requests, and disseminating media \
- Work collaboratively with key AM stakeholders to capture media production requirements and create digital experiences featuring culture, science and education content across platforms, including: website content, social and broadcast media, exhibition installations and mixed reality (XR) experiences.

Employment Status:

- Clerk Grade 5/6
- Fixed term 6 months
- Full time 35 hours per week
- Period of engagement: March 2025 - August 2025

You will be paid a competitive annual salary $93,295 - $102,942, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 11.5%) and annual leave loading.

**About you**:
We are seeking a professional who has capability and demonstrated experience in media production including video production and publication quality photography.

**Essential requirements**:

- Tertiary level qualifications or industry certifications in media production or in communications with a strong audio visual component, or demonstrable equivalent professional experience
