**About the role**
We're seeking a talented Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant to join our team for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and delivering learning initiatives that enhance both employee skills and business capabilities. Your work will contribute to improving operational performance and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will be the primary L&D delivery resource managing the end - to end L&D processes, with the full support of a collaborative and experienced People & Culture team. This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, with flexible options available.
We’re looking for someone who is project-focused, results-driven, and ready to jump in and make an impact from day one.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in implementing learning and development initiatives aligned with the People & Culture Strategy and Annual Plan.
- Support the identification of current and future capability needs to meet business objectives.
- Contribute to fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Enhance the employee experience by facilitating learning and career development opportunities across the organization.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development Manager and People & Culture team to ensure the successful execution of L&D initiatives.
- Facilitate virtual classroom programs and support communities of practice
**About you**
You will be a passionate and enthusiastic learning and development professional, looking of an opportunity to step into a role that will see you take ownership of the learning outcomes of a business and really make a difference.
You will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s level qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Education or a related field. You will have considerable experience working with a Learning and Development function of a professional services firm. Exposure to the Built Environment industry is highly regarded though not essential.
- To round out your technical expertise you will also posses:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to see a project from end to end
- High levels of organisation with the ability to prioritise and coordinate across competing priorities and deadlines
Your consultative and pragmatic approach lets you effectively engage with stakeholders, balancing best practices with the business' operational needs.
