**The opportunity**
The On-boarding Consultant is responsible for supporting the growth of AMP’s financial advice network through the onboarding and establishment of financial advisers, practices and accredited mortgage consultants (AMCs) to, and within, the AMP advice network. On-boarding of financial advisers and practices can take between 1-3 months depending on the type of onboarding.

**How you will make an impact**
On-boarding and establishment of financial advisers, AMCs and practices to and across AMP’s licensees and brands
- Fact finding to understand the adviser’s/AMC’s personal circumstances and complexity of their transition; build and tailor onboarding plans to their individual and practice needs
- Complete/coordinate a range of background, qualification and reference checks and assess the outcomes in line with the Background and Reference Checking policy and guidelines to ensure the adviser/AMC meets regulatory requirements. This may include making appropriate recommendations to the Licensee about the quality of the adviser/AMC to progress an appointment.
- Work with advisers/AMCs to explain, guide and instruct them on their onboarding, minimise complexity and manage the transition plan to ensure all required activities are completed as planned
- Collaborate with team, internal and external business partners and stakeholders (including regulatory bodies) to coordinate the efficient delivery of onboarding services
- Effectively manage case or process issues promptly so risks and financial impacts for the financial adviser and for AMP are avoided / minimised
- Appoint or terminate an adviser within the AMP systems and ASIC as part of the end-to-end onboarding case.
- Meet agreed onboarding service and adviser satisfaction targets and measures (cycle time, adviser numbers, adviser experience)
- Maintain accurate and complete case files and reporting
- Meet quality standards
- Identify and contribute to process improvements
- Participate in and contribute to team activities
- Keep up to date on changes in policy, process, in service teams and network business partners and adapt case management approach accordingly

**What you will bring to the role**
Experience required
- Project coordination/management and or complex case management experience
- Participation in / contribution to process improvement initiatives
- Previous experience in coordinating background and reference checks
- Previous experience in managing ASIC appointments/terminations preferred
- Knowledge of ASIC regulatory framework preferred
- Understanding of financial advice with 3-5 years’ experience working in financial services, ideally supporting financial advisers
- Use of workflow systems
- Use of DocuSign
- Familiarity with NPS systems and activities
