Tapin Technical Consultant

**The opportunity**

The Advice Delivery division is responsible for the design and implementation of end to end advice solutions, learning and professionalism, adviser technology and tools, product research, APL maintenance and the provision of technical support to advisers in AMP Licensees.

TapIn is a centre of excellence for technical services and technical capability within AMP.

TapIn contributes to the Advice Delivery goals and strategic objectives by:

- Developing people & processes that provide AMP with a centre of technical excellence.
- Monitoring, analysing, and communicating changes and impacts in regulations that affect financial planning advice.
- Using technical knowledge and insights to identify opportunities, maintain technical compliance, educate planners, clients and consult with internal customers.

Working with individual planners to answer technical queries and working with internal customers and project groups to provide technical solutions.

The purpose of the role is to operate as part of the TapIn team providing first class technical advice and support to AMP licensees, selected external distribution channels and other key internal stakeholders.

**How you will make an impact**

The Advice Technical Consultant will be responsible for the following;
- Develop technical material and publications to support key stakeholder initiatives
- Develop and deliver technical presentations for financial planners and key internal clients
- Review written material for technical sign off including marketing material etc

**What you will bring to the role**

You should have experience and qualifications in the following areas;
- Strong technical knowledge covering the principal areas of taxation, superannuation, social security, life insurance, estate planning and financial planning issues - Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical role or as a financial adviser
- Essential.
- Sound knowledge of the financial planning industry - Essential
- Tertiary qualification in accounting/law/commerce/finance/business/financial planning - Essential
