**The Company**

Our client is an Australian agricultural business with large number of domestic and international clients. Despite economic conditions they have had consistent growth over the last 2 years. A newly created role has been devised to drive efficiencies across their inventory and distribution network.

**The Role**

Playing a pivotal in the supply chain team, this role is a unique position. You will work alongside a large and collaborative team and focus on the businesses inventory and import logistics. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Maintain optimum stock levels across the network. Weekly and monthly stocktake.
- Manage multisite both company owned and 3PL.
- Assist freight forwarders in managing the imported logistics for the Victorian business. Shipping coordination and documentation.
- Manage the inventory process and systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, finance demand and warehousing.
- Maintain the integrity of the inventory system with a high degree of accuracy.

**Your Background**

Key requirements for this role are;
- 2+ Years experience in inventory management or logistics coordination.
- Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment is desired.
- Detailed understanding and experience of working with an MRP system.
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively.
- Industry experience would be an advantage.
- Overall positive attitude and the desire to learn and progress within your career is a must.
