Job Description

The role of a Supply and Distribution Manager involves overseeing all aspects of logistics, order entry, inventory, warehouse, and customer service areas. This includes managing stocktakes, driving efficiencies and improvements across various responsibilities, managing relationships internally and externally, and ensuring Customer Service KPI's are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all logistical processes including stock control, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain and implement changes to drive efficiency.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor and report on customer service metrics to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for supply and distribution to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve delivery terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to support business needs.
  • Oversee inventory controls and tracking processes to ensure accurate records.
  • Organize and allocate tasks to team members as required.
  • Review and evaluate logistics providers to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Oversee warehouse operations and manage staff to achieve set goals.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor degree qualification in Business or Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Have minimum 12 months experience in supply chain and distribution management in a professional capacity.
  • Have experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and using Unleashed Inventory Software and Zoho ERP system.
  • Be able to provide operational strategies, information, and reporting to the business and senior management.
  • Have advanced Excel skills and be able to think critically and solve problems effectively.
