**Logistics Coordinator **in the
**retail sector**, you will have gained your experience from within head office level and understand logistics and supply chain management, have the ability to analyse supply chain operations, inventory, and forecast data to ensure product is moved and delivered on time. Your contribution will enable the business to increase efficiency, improve customer service, increase sales and improve stakeholder relationships.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues
- Analyse and optimise logístical procedures
- Communicate to key stakeholders on inventory levels
- Cross checking purchase orders against shipment documentation
- Execution of timely and accurate allocation of the merchandise ranges
- Liaise with the stores on stock management issues and provide feedback on initial allocation quantities and issues
- Liaise with warehouse, freight companies and head office
- Liaising and negotiating with stakeholders
- Monitor shipments, costs, timelines and productivity
- Organise and manage inventory, storage and transportation
- Oversee all supply chain operations
- Review, prepare and routinely purchase orders
- Track, trace and update the status of shipments

**Skill and experience**:

- 2+ years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experience
- An analytical mind, exceptional attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Customer service focus
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience gained within multiple retail stores environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer and system knowledge
- Positive and energetic demeanour
- Promptly resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation skills
- Proven ability to make sound business decisions and be solution driven
