Your new organisation is a boutique accountancy firm with a nice office located in CBD, Sydney. They cover an array of personal, business, corporate & institutional accounting services.

**Your new role**

As an admin assistant, you would be responsible for:

- Dealing with ASIC and ATO statutory bodies as a client and firm liaison when required.
- Setting up new clients on CCH, ATO Portal and ASIC (CAS360).
- Maintain client data regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Creating and sending standard engagement letters to new clients.
- Send out documents for client signature via Docusign.
- Lodge ITRs and BAS via CCH.
- Manage ATO correspondences via ATOMate.
- Manage ASIC correspondences via CAS360.
- Being proactively business minded.
- Entry of data into client reporting systems.
- Assisting in the maintenance of a happy work environment of co-workers and a clean and tidy office.
- Light office duties including but not limited to answering the phones, organising mail attending to client, staff and needs of the business.
- Document management including filing and archiving; keeping information confidential.
- Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Pro-active awareness of issues that affect clients.
- Assistance in arrangement of firm events and functions as planned by the business from time to time.
- All other tasks as reasonably required.

- Demonstrate optimal time management and prioritization skills while also being resilient;
- Client management, communication, and liaison;
- Compliance awareness;
- Familiarity with IT and accounting software:

- Proficient skills in Excel and Office products; ii. MYOB, Quicken and Xero accounting software; iii. CCH practice management software.
