**About the Role**
Contribute to the enhancement of the student experience through the delivery of key initiatives. Working closely with the Team Leader, Academic and Peer Mentoring, and Student and Scholarly Services, you will play a central role in coordinating the Melbourne Peer Mentor Program and supporting the broader suite of mentoring and leadership initiatives. This includes the administration of the Arts Leadership Community, where you will oversee workshops, events, and engagement activities while monitoring program effectiveness. Ensure the seamless delivery of programs that foster student connection, promote engagement, and enrich the academic journey of undergraduates. You will contribute to faculty-wide events, integrating local and university-wide strategies, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives to achieve excellence in student support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and supporting mentoring programs by managing program logistics, responding to student and mentor enquiries, tracking participation, and ensuring compliance with university guidelines.
- Facilitating events and engagement initiatives for the Arts Leadership Community, including planning workshops, monitoring student involvement, and implementing improvements based on feedback.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across faculties and services to deliver consistent, high-quality student experience programs, while integrating communications and content for mentoring initiatives.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on program data and feedback to inform continuous improvement, while contributing to broader student experience activities such as Orientation and Melbourne Commencement Celebrations.

Most importantly, you will bring enthusiasm, empathy, and a genuine dedication to creating meaningful opportunities that support student success and well-being.
You also have:
- A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and expertise in administrative or program coordination.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing large-scale programs using enterprise systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Excel, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience delivering cyclical administrative support within a university or customer service setting, with proven problem-solving abilities and a capacity for handling complex workflows.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse student and staff groups, and experience producing reports, managing enquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
