Parking Officers need to join a local council for a contract position.

**Your new company**

A Local Council based on the sunny Eastern Shore are seeking Parking Officers to join their team on a contract basis.

**Your new role**

We are looking for two parking officers for a 3-to-4-month contract. You will be responsible for chalking vehicles, issuing infringement notices, and enforcing parking regulations in designated areas. You will also be dealing with enquiries and challenging situations on a regular basis, so you need to have excellent communication and customer service skills. This position will involve a lot of walking. You could do up to 20,000 steps a day.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

- A reasonable level of fitness to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing and walking for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.
- Valid driving licence
- The ability to work independently and with a degree of discretion.
- Sound communication, computer, organisational and administration skills.

**What you'll get in return**

You will receive a competitive hourly rate and if you love the outdoors, this role is 80% outside with a small amount of office time.
