**About the role**:
The Parking Services Manager will oversee the strategic and operational management of Hobart’s parking systems, including on-street, off-street, and temporary parking. The position will lead a dedicated team, manage a significant operational budget, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the city’s parking services support urban mobility, economic growth, and community needs.

Role accountabilities include:

- Lead the strategic and operational management of Hobart’s on-street, off-street, and temporary parking services.
- Develop and implement parking strategies that align with the City’s goals and the needs of residents, visitors, and businesses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including public transport providers and local businesses, to ensure parking services contribute to the overall transportation system and economic development.
- Oversee parking assets, including multi-story car parks, permits, and enforcement technology, ensuring they meet current and future demands.
- Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and lease agreements to deliver cost-effective and compliant parking services.
- Drive innovation in parking management, integrating new technologies and business models to improve the customer experience.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the Parking Services Team and across networks.
