About the role
Service Stream’s Telecommunications Division are currently seeking a National Project Coordinator to join our Optus Colossus team.
Location: Hybrid WFH model based in Chatswood or Melbourne.
Basis: Permanent, full-time
Reports to: National Delivery Manager
Key responsibilities
The National Project Coordinator plays a key role in the on-going project administration activities, ensuring that internal and external stakeholders are provided with the required appropriate artefacts and completion documents to ensure effective and on time payments both to sub-contractors and from the client.
In this role you will also be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and analysing data to ensure subcontractor claims and invoicing processes are being adhered to.
- Ensuring timely and accurate payments are made through Jobpac/IFS/MDFS and other financial systems.
- Attending client meetings.
- Management of all claim rejection responses including analysis of root cause, initiatives to reduce rejections and the presentation of commercial justification to Optus on items disputed.
- Carry out claim checks.
- Maintain all databases and reporting relating to activities in your project area.
- Reporting to relevant stakeholders on the overall status of claims.
- Assist the team with other delivery requirements including but not limited to - onboarding, land access, and field updates.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with a great attitude and strong desire to learn. Ideally you would also posses the following:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience in stakeholder and client management.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and high level of attention to detail.
- Experience in project claims and administration in telecommunications.
- Experience in relevant systems including Jobpac, MDFS, IFS, Power Bi, Workday, Concur (desirable).
- Degree or qualification in Finance or Business Administration (desirable).
