**About the Role**

**Full time - Fixed term until 30/09/2026**

The Test Lead is responsible for leading testing management for One Digital transformation program delivered by Solution Design and Delivery. This will involve defining the overall Test Strategy and ensuring timely delivery of Test Plans to help One Digital program deliver fit-for-purpose solution to the business.
The role will lead the testing team, ensuring the relevant testing principles and frameworks are applied through the lifecycle of the program.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Develop test strategy and plan for large program of work involving modernisation of IT services to deliver a consistent digital user experience across the department.
- Monitor and communicate progress of test plans against defined budget and schedule.
- Collaborate seamlessly with testers, business stakeholders, vendors, and third parties to guarantee the successful completion of system, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Ensure the testing requirements and scenarios align with the overarching project goals and objectives.
- Proactively identify gaps and associated risks and collaborate with the project team to address them effectively.
- Document, plan, and actively participate in test execution, leveraging automation for test suites wherever possible.
- Manage the defect management process by coordinating with business stakeholders, vendor teams, and relevant SMEs to log, triage, validate, and close defects.
- Foster and lead high levels of engagement, cohesion, and commitment among team members to ensure the timely delivery of required testing outcomes.
- Produce relevant test reports, including Test Execution, Defect & Test Summary, to keep stakeholders informed.
- Establish and manage comprehensive test environments, ensuring systematic preparation of test data for various testing phases.
- Advocate for a work environment prioritizing safety and inclusivity and support flexible team operations to enhance overall productivity and well-being.
- In line with Section 31A of the Public Administration Act 2004 (Vic) other duties may be assigned consistent with employment classification, skills, and capabilities.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**
- Testing experience in waterfall, agile and hybrid projects.
- Tools - TestRail, JIRA, SQL, ALM

**Desirable**
- Demonstrated success adapting to a fast-paced environment.
- Automation Testing
