**About the ROBUST Program**:
**Requirements Summary**:
The Test Lead (Business Acceptance) will work within the ROBUST Program to manage Testing Services and Releases. This would include but not limited to working within a multidisciplinary team of Business Analysts, Program Architects, Project Managers, Program Managers, and other Business Stakeholders.
This role is required to provide Testing Services that shall contribute to the core ROBUST program objectives of improved Security, Stability and Resilience across the Bureau's technology landscape.
**Full Requirements - Responsibilities**
**The role will**:
- Ability to work in matrix organisation with ability to meet objectives of program and testing services at same time.
- Ensure alignment to the overall Robust Test Strategy.
- Work closely with Test Managers and other Test Leads to drive and implement the ROBUST Test Strategy within projects, whilst challenging and providing input in how it can be adjusted and improved along the journey.
- Support Test Managers in defining and implementing Test Approaches across multiple Projects.
- Assisting Test Managers in release/iteration planning, and Test estimations.
- Mentor, lead, and support Test analysts required for ROBUST Delivery.
- Publish Test status reports as required across multiple Projects.
- Work with Environment and data leads to ensure that of environment and data requirements are successfully met.
- Work with Business representatives and Project Delivery Team to develop Business Acceptance Test Plan
- Coordinate and assist in the execution of Business Acceptance Test scripts including test tool updates.
- Orient test participants on the Business Acceptance Test planning, execution, and defect reporting.
- Take the lead in triaging and resolving any issues or defects that are blocking Business Acceptance Test activities along with developers, BAs, PMs, Architects, and testers.
- Ensure regular updates on Business Acceptance Test metrics and reporting to provide appropriate decision-making information for stakeholders.
- Prepare Business Acceptance Test Summary Report on test completion.
- Support and execute Test planning, execution and reporting for other integrated test phases as required.
- Comply with all Bureau work, health and safety policies and procedures, and take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of employees, contractors and visitors who may be affected by your conduct.
- Commitment to APS Values, Employment Principles, Code of Conduct, and the Bureau's Social Justice Strategy.
**Knowledge and Skills Required**
**Mandatory**:
- 5+ years of experience as Test Lead on Business Acceptance Testing.
- Experience in working under complex, mission critical, large-scale programs.
- Experience in Test landscapes that include many integrated systems, various stakeholders, and multiple vendor teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work with different areas of the organisation both within the Business and Operations.
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.
**Desirable**:
- ISTQB/similar qualified.
- Experience in Business Acceptance Test Governance will be an advantage.
- Awareness of IT security concepts and standards.
- Experience in projects in Government Agencies.
- IT Qualification.
- Experience in IT security programs.
