**Test Lead | 12 months + 6 month Contract role | Large Gov Program**:

- **Melbourne CBD Based | Some WFH Flexibility | Agile delivery**:
As the Test Lead you will be a key part of a large team delivering the Testing services to a large mission critical program. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team of Business Analysts, Program Architects, Project Managers, Program Managers, and other Business Stakeholders.

Note: Only Australian Citizen will be considered for this role as you will need to have or be able to obtain a security clearance.

**Key Responsibilities...**
- Ability to work in matrix organisation with ability to meet objectives of program and testing services at same time
- Ensure alignment to the overall Test Strategy.
- Work closely with Test Managers and other Test Leads to drive and implement the Test Strategy within projects, whilst challenging and providing input in how it can be adjusted and improved along the journey.
- Support Test Managers in defining and implementing Test Approaches across multiple Projects.
- Assisting Test Managers in release/iteration planning, and Test estimations.
- Mentor, lead, and support Test analysts required for Delivery.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of test automation, performance, and security testing to work with peers within testing services
- Publish Test status reports as required across multiple Projects.
- Take the lead in triaging and resolving any issues or defects that are blocking Test activities along with developers, BAs, PMs, Architects, and testers
- Work with the Test Tools Manager to run a 'fit-for-purpose' Test automation approach and supporting tools that is aligned with the Test Automation strategy.
- Establish and manage the joint Testing approach with any external parties or vendors.
- Assist in overall Test Governance reporting.
- Support and execute Test planning, execution and reporting for System Test, Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, Performance and Security Test phases.
- Ensure regular updates to Test metrics and reporting to provide appropriate decision-making information for the Test and external stakeholders.

**Key Skills and Experience...**
- 5+ years of experience as Test Lead.
- Experience in working under complex, mission critical, large-scale programs.
- Experience in Test landscapes that include many integrated systems, various stakeholders, and multiple vendor teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work with different areas of the organisation both within the Business and Operations.
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.
- ISTQB/similar qualified.
- Experience in IT security programs an advantage
