**The Client**:
Our client for this position is a major multinational financial services organization, they currently have a requirement for a Test Lead with experience in Investments, Superannuation or large-scale M&A projects in the fin-services space. Initially offered as a 6-month engagement the role has a strong potential for future extensions.

**The Role**:
The role of the Test Lead is to lead the testing component on medium to large projects and mentor a pool of offshore Test Analyst resources to conduct the test case design and test execution, ensuring that the work carried out is acceptable in terms of quality and meeting project objectives.

The Test Lead oversees all testing activities on a project and owns the defect management process. They will also be required to peer review the testing artefacts created by other members of the testing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- The Test Lead will be responsible for the delivery and/or governance of testing across the following phases:

- System testing (ST), System Integration testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Business Verification Testing
- process and procedures (BVT) and End to End testing (E2E)
- Test Planning for Projects
- Test estimation, Requirements analysis and scope identification, Preparation of test strategy, plans and approach and Walkthroughs with Stakeholders (Test plans, strategies)
- Test Management for Projects
- Resource allocation and coordination
- Coordination of testing activities with GOSS (external) and internal team members for test planning, execution and peer-review
- Peer review and feedback and Resource mentoring
- Testing Delivery activities:

- Test Environment coordination, Test data identification and creation, Test script development and Execution of test plans
- Test Closure:

- Creating test summary report
- Walkthrough test results and summary report with stakeholders
- Identification and implementation of process enhancements
- Defect Management
- Validation of defects raised by other team members
- Conduct defect triage to ensure each defect managed to resolution
- Supporting testing done without the testing team
- Consult to projects that are being run without test team involvement
- Peer review plans and processes to ensure adherence with Testing CoE framework
