Long term day rate contracting opportunity working for a leading automotive business on a brand new software implementation

Are you an experienced Test Lead with a strong focus on manual testing? Do you thrive in managing and coordinating testing activities within tight timelines? We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Lead to join a leading automotive business and contribute to the success of a brand-new system implementation project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Quickly familiarize yourself with the written and signed-off requirements for the project
- Take ownership of test case management, including writing and reviewing test cases
- Manage and mentor a team of Junior Business Analysts who have received coaching in testing
- Coordinate with an offshore team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Provide detailed management for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) while overseeing System Integration Testing (SIT) at a high level
- Assess the feasibility of implementing automated regression testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the functional gaps and work towards their resolution
- Contribute to the development and approval of the Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Utilize JIRA and Xray for efficient test case management
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Test Lead, with a focus on manual testing with some Business Analyst experience
- Familiarity with BPM (Business Process Management) or workflow-intensive software products
- Excellent understanding of requirements documents and the ability to write effective test cases
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Prior experience working in unstructured and immature project spaces
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines, including short UAT cycles
- Familiarity with test case management tools like JIRA and Xray
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience managing offshore teams
- Melbourne-based, with the ability to work from our CBD office for at least two days a week
