The Opportunity:
The Test Lead is primarily responsible for leading testing activities across an assigned project or portfolio through managing daily workload of the testing team consisting of internal, offshore, and contract test analysts and providing direction where required. This will involve estimating the test effort for each requirement and to ensure that the estimates provided are appropriate for the type and complexity of the changes being developed.

This position will also be responsible for providing support in designing testing deliverables - including but not limited to; Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Approach, Test Summary report, Daily status reports and others as required.

In this role it is expected that the Test Lead will work with the Head of Analysis & Quality Assurance and other Test Leads to ensure that the necessary testing resources (manual and automation resources) and skill sets are available and allocated based on estimated test effort.
- Directing, monitoring and ensuring delivery of testing execution services by other Testing Practitioners
- Assisting in guiding and mentoring Testing Practitioners in support of their delivery
- Preparing and maintaining testing documentation - Testing Service Estimations, Test Scope Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Summary Report, Daily Status Reports, and other as required
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the Quality Assurance Community of Practice at AIA, generating community and stakeholder buy in, promoting and ensuring the value and benefits of the Quality Assurance CoE are understood

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Significant experience in the delivery of Testing services, in accordance with industry standard tools, techniques and methodologies
- Previous experience working in a Testing Practice/Chapter role, directly responsible for leading and managing end to end testing activities within enterprise project delivery functions
- In depth knowledge and experience working with a range of Project and Testing tools, delivery methodologies and governance
- Proven experience with different testing types/functions e.g. Automation, Performance, System, System Integration, Regression and End to End
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to generate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
