Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sport’s governing body, entertainment and sports rights-holder, and media production houses in Asia-Pacific. We are currently seeking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner - Commercial, in this role you will be responsible for the delivery of accounting services to Tennis Australia.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of monthly profit and loss and balance sheets for Tennis Australia
- Working with the Finance Business Partner in the preparation of the monthly financial reports
- Preparation of cash-flow forecast
- Preparing invoicing for the Commercial Business unit (Australian Open and Australian Open Series Events), including for Sponsors, Media Rights and Sports Betting
- Preparing and keep up to date payment schedules for invoicing
- Assisting in the collation of the TA budgets
- Scheduling timeframes for manager monthly budget review for assigned units and ensuring adherence to these time frames
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested

About you

What you will bring to the role:

- 2 years’ experience from a complex organisation, professional services or otherwise is preferred
- Financial modelling and excel skills with strong experience utilising systems and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and successful implementation
- Appropriate qualifications including an accounting degree and currently, or planning to, study towards membership as an Associate of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants or Institute of Chartered Accountant in Australia
- Alignment with the TA Values of: Excellence, Humility, Loyalty and Teamwork
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
