Quinn Allan is exclusively partnering with a high-growth apparel designer and manufacturer as they expand their Commercial team. This organisation is recognised for its strong, people-first culture and is currently undergoing a phase of expansion, expanding markets and broadening existing product lines.

About the Position

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company's evolving commercial framework. This position will drive strategic initiatives across brands, channels, and geographies. Partnering with senior leadership, including the VP of Finance for a major international market, the role will deliver commercial insights to inform key business decisions and support sustained growth across the brand portfolio.

This is a highly visible role, well-suited to a commercially minded finance professional seeking to influence performance at both a strategic and operational level.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
• Develop and implement brand-focused reporting and planning tools, enhancing the visibility of key metrics across the business.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and performance analysis, supporting commercial decision-making and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Support group-wide financial planning processes, including the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and ongoing performance reviews.
• Collaborate with international subsidiaries to align operational execution with broader commercial objectives.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships, effectively communicating financial insights to non-financial stakeholders and fostering a culture of commercial accountability.
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying areas for operational efficiency and recommending enhancements to existing processes and systems.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA) with approximately 5 years of experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role.
• Prior experience in the FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential (e.g. macros, pivot tables, modelling); exposure to SQL or data visualisation tools is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to add value.
