The purpose of the PACE tribe is to deliver Whole of Customer/Whole of Bank strategic insights, propositions and engagements, leveraging our unique internal and external partnerships

What will your day look like?

As a Commercial Analyst, you deeply understand the power of data to generate quality customer insight, manage information, identify trends and make decisions.

This Commercial Analyst role is responsible for the delivery of strategic insights, commercial analysis and the design and build of analysis and reporting to support decision making across the Retail Division and in particular how we best leverage the strategic partnerships we have in the Australian Division. The role will also assess commercial viability of a range of opportunities and propositions.

A day in the life of a Commercial Analyst

Previous experience in scoping and developing plans for strategic pieces of work, as well as, developing and delivering commercial and partnership agreements
Experience in executing business change including key stakeholder management along the journey
Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making
Ability to structure clear, fact-based and compelling strategic insights, business cases and narratives to create organisational buy-in
Developed mechanisms to track performance and value realisation on investment
Ability to quickly gather information on the program of work and communicate this to stakeholders
Ability to proactively and smoothly manage complex networks of stakeholder relationships internal and external to the bank
Identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses
Generate, monitor, present and analyse relevant customer insights, costs, benefits, and risks for customers, clients and cohort products; this could include business casing, “what if?” scenarios and opportunity sizing & assessments
Continuous generation, monitoring, presenting and conducting of 'fact-based' analysis of relevant customer insights to use for the development and improvement of compelling and innovative customer propositions
Contribute to the development of a fact-based culture throughout the bank
Develop tools and methods to fully profile customers and customer segments
Source data from a variety of sources to combine, synthesise and analyse to generate insights and recommendations
Design and execute a series of Test & Learn business interventions (customers and operational) to uplift customer engagement and business performance. Monitor and optimise these tests.
What you will bring to the PACE Tribe?

Hands-on knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g. SQL, QlikView BI, Tableau)
